Re-Thinking Sustainable Development within Islamic Worldviews: A Systematic Literature Review

Many models of economic growth and sustainable development like circular economy, doughnut sharing economy were articulated to address the global issues including poverty, climate change, inequity. However, these not informed by traditional value-based worldviews. This systematic literature review aims gain insights on different models, practices, drivers for Islamic inform a new discourse sustainability. Besides, it intends define emerging themes in explore viability adopting promote inclusive, pro-poor, human-centred development. The methodology adopted is identify sustainability Islam.
